Mike is an avid photographer of all things New England, and has a passion for creating images of people, places and things! Mike is currently located in Warwick, Rhode Island, and spends much of his free time exploring every nook and cranny of the Ocean State, as well as the other communities located in and around New England. While his home state is small in terms of actual size, it is large and rich in its diversity and is full of great subjects for photography. While the state is noted for its beautiful beaches right on the Atlantic Ocean, there are also endless miles of coastline along Narragansett Bay. Once away from the coastline one can find many acres of woodlands, farms and parks. The capital city of Providence was one of the first cities established in the United States, and is a favorite location of Mike’s for nighttime photography! It is many of these sites that I find across the region that I share with you through my photography!
Photography is an art that lets loose the creative part of who Mike is. Mike enjoys all forms of photography – landscape, portrait, and still life photography are all enjoyed by Mike. It is not a style of photography that Mike loves, but rather the creative process itself. Mike’s goal with his photography is to show you things that perhaps you see on a regular basis, but in a different way. A new way that will perhaps make you stop and wonder. From a grand landscape to a simple pair of basketball sneakers left in the middle of the floor, Mike can find beauty anywhere.
Mike is an active member of PSRI, a local photography club that he finds a tremendous source of knowledge, friendship and inspiration. Mike is currently serving as the organization’s president.
